Welcome to Ummah Hub ("the App"), a Muslim prayer companion providing prayer times, Quran reading, Qibla direction, and dhikr tools. The App is developed and operated by Digital Logistic (digitallogistic.co.uk).
This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR.

The App requests access to your device's GPS location (fine and coarse location) for the following purposes:
App settings (language, calculation method, notification preferences, alarm status, Pro purchase status) are stored locally on your device using Android's SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device.

For users who have not purchased the "Remove Ads" in-app product, the App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use device identifiers and advertising IDs to serve personalised or contextual ads.
The "Remove Ads" one-time purchase is processed entirely through Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment information. Google's purchase records are subject to their own privacy policy.
Quran text and translations are fetched from the open-source AlQuran.cloud API. This service receives your IP address as part of standard HTTP requests. No personal data is submitted.
Quran recitation audio is streamed from cdn.islamic.network. Standard HTTP request metadata (IP address, requested resource) is logged by the CDN provider per their infrastructure practices.

Since all app data (preferences, settings, alarm state) is stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences, you can delete all data at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing App data via Android Settings → Apps → Ummah Hub → Storage → Clear Data.
We do not maintain any server-side database of user data and therefore have no retention schedule to apply.
Ummah Hub is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete such data.
All data stored by the App resides on your device and is protected by Android's standard application sandboxing. Network requests to Quran APIs and CDNs are made over HTTPS. We do not operate any backend servers that store your personal data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify users via an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
